STUNNING!  These “practical” superheroine redesigns by Meredith McClaren are just to die for. I love how fashionable they are, how much they take into consideration the real world, there’s a practicality and function that is nevertheless completely badass. They’re also so far away from “basic catsuit” type stuff that it all feels so damn new and fresh!I mean…Look at that freaking Zatanna! I’ve never seen anything like that!

AND, you’ll be able to buy the original line art for some of these as she releases rewards this week for her AWESOME KICKSTARTER…although you guys are going to have to fight me for that Catwoman.

These are so amazing guys!
Meredith is beyond talented.
If you haven’t already you should go support her Kickstarter.

If only we knew, Diana.

I still get this all the time.
If the focus is off of dudes for even a moment, it’s because I hate men.
Which I don’t, I think guys are swell.
It’s weird.

If you’ve ever seen a protest of a Warren Farrell talk or any MRM group you will see that feminists hate it when the focus is on men for a second. Of course feminism isn’t the same as gender equality, but I guess many people think it is. I’ve heard, at these protests, feminists say “why do men need a ‘mens space’?” In the context that men should go to feminist spaces instead of MRM spaces. So it’s not that gender equality=misandry, it’s that the way feminism goes about gender equality is usually at the expense of men.

Hahaha, good one! Oh, wait. You’re serious with this?

There’s something really interesting about a society where women have within a half century (if we’re being generous) been gradually included in the normal inter workings of politics, the workforce and regular society and said society pretends somehow (quite suddenly) they’ve got the advantage. Name a society where men were barred from voting because of their gender, or dismissed from public participation in careers outside the home, or not allowed to be an active participant in their religion of choice or presumed to be lesser due to their swinging appendages . This entire argument you’re making is predicated on the false premise that feminists are somehow trying to take something away from you when so much of world history speaks to the notion that women have barely been empowered. Giving other people the rights some enjoy  does not mean they lose those rights, it just means that said rights are now not a matter of privilege. So no, women having access to equal pay, voting rights and this pesky notion of equality is not at the expense of men unless you want to concede that fixing the status quo requires decentering the notion that men are naturally above women in the social structure   Its about as irrational an argument as saying that your gay neighbors being married somehow screws up your own.

Well, this is embarrassing

Left: Adrianne Palicki promo shot for NBC’s Wonder Woman.

Right: Kimberly Kane promo shot for ‘Wonder Woman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody’.

….is it just me or does the porno version outfit not only look WAY BETTER crafted and prettier, the actress also has more muscles, a nicer fitting chest piece and a waaay more fitting body type and skin tone.

Also the porno version doesn’t look more “feminine”/more sexy whatever.

That… is EMBARASSING

the “official” one looks like a really bad Halloween costume

I mean fuck the porno one has bigger wrist cuff I REPEATE: BIGGER WRIST CUFFS PORNO WOMAN IS BETTER DRESSED TO KICK ASS *cries*

can someone contact the designer of the porno

clearly he/she knows how a womans body works.

It’s embarrassing when the official looks a like a porn and the porn looks like the official thing.

As some of you may know, I’ve been dealing with some fairly serious personal issues lately, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you guys for being patient as JL8 has had to be put on the back-burner for the last few weeks. Your understanding means a lot.

Just a little tribute art inspired by cosplayer Jay Justice and her Nubia costume as well as a young lady who cosplayed with her as Donna Troy in this photo (if any of you guys happen to know who the 2nd gal is, send her my way. I’d love for her to see this.) Jay herself and a few other friends inform me that she’s fellow cosplayer, Adya Moran. Thanks. ^_^  I thought they looked amazing and have been itching to draw them for some time. :)
